The Downeast Brass Quintet

NEWS: Presently, Dwight Tibbetts is studying with Dr. Tim Weir from the University of Miami. Dwight reports: for two months now Dr. Weir has been drilling him with improvisational techniques. The Downeast Brass has recently acquired a number of Paul Chauvin arrangements for brass quintet. These arrangements were played at Disney Land by the Make Believe Brass--we are very excited to share them with our fans this summer! Check back again for more updates from the Downeast Brass! The Downeast Brass

The Downeast Brass is comprised of five highly experienced musicians from Southern and Central Maine. They enjoy playing a wide range of styles, from classical to Dixieland, and from parades to wedding ceremonies. As music educators, they seek to reach audiences of all ages with original and entertaining programming.
