After a three-year absence because of the pandemic, the Downeast Brass returned to their annual "Dresden Christmas Celebration" at the St. John's Episcopal Church. Even with pouring rain outside this year, it was a packed house as usual!

This was the last gig of the summer. We had just finished a two hour stroll of the Windsor Fairgrounds.

The first photo was taken to encourage our mentor John Foss to get better; he is a fellow brass player in the hospital recovering from heart issues.
We love you, John, and want you back playing ASAP.

The other pictures are of Dwight playing for his great nephew Ezra. This was his first brass concert. He was grinning from ear to ear!
This is what music is all about: to spread joy and love, to grab the moment, and to enjoy life.
